国内のいくつかのアパレルメーカーでレディース10年・メンズ10年勤務。それぞれチーフ職まで経験し2006年に独立。 2008FWシリーズよりhelderを始める。 ヴィンテージやミリタリーなどへの造詣も深く、デザインだけでなく 裏仕様までもが本物に由来するものである。
Shinichiro was a designer and chief designer at Japanese ladie’s and men’s apparel makers for over 20 years until in 2006 he became an independent designer. He started helder in 2008 with its Fall-Winter series. Well versed in vintage and military styles, Shinichiro designs helder clothing lines to embody not just the overall design but even the subtle detailing of the source material.

Sachi built her career at a variety of ladies’ apparel makers in Japan before she became an independent patterner in 2001. As a freelancer, she designs patterns for designer brands. She has designed every helder pattern since its inception.
全て日本製。商品のデザインや素材によってメンズ工場・レディース工場と 使い分ける。 職人的発想を持つ工場にお願いし、手の温もりを感じられる商品作りを心がけている。
All helder clothing is made in Japan. Depending on the product’s design and material, ladies’ and men’s apparel are produced at separate factories. helder works with craftsman-like factories that strive to impart a made-by-hand warmth to all helder products. Materials and Attachments helder uses original, imported, and domestic materials that are each closely examined prior to selection to choose the best material for the design. Depending on the material, different textile mills will be entrusted with men’s and ladies’ apparel. Attachments are generally made from natural materials (excluding metals). Some attachments such as antique buttons and tape are bought specially in Paris.
helderは基本的には全て天然素材を使用した商品を提供しています。生地はもちろんのことボタンなどもできる限り天然素材を使用しています。一部アンティークのボタンやスカーフなどをアクセントとして再利用しています。

In the Pays Basque of France, there is a small, famous resort town from long ago named Biarittz. There you can find unchanging beautiful scenery and blue seas, pass the time peacefully, and eat delicious food painstakingly made from the best ingredients. Biarittz expresses the luxury and calm of bygone France while maintaining its own charm as a rural town. In this small coastal town, you will find a small street: “Helder.”
